Christmas was great! We did a lot fun things with the kids. Our Community got animals,brought snow so the kids could sled for the day because you don't really get a lot of snow in Vegas... We also went and saw Santa when Papa came into town and Luke was a little hesitant but then he saw Ethan jump on Santa's lap so he did to. We made cookies and made a gingerbread house We also went to the Belligio with our good friends the cuffs to see the gardens. On Christmas Eve Matt and Melodie came over with her parents and we had had Christmas Eve dinner. We loved living around Matt and Melodie we wish they lived by us now. But that night the kids got to open one gift and there PJs and they got pillow pets. I love Christmas with the kids. We had our story and tried to act out the parts with baby Jesus but we need more kids. Ethan understood it was Jesus birthday but Luke not so much. The next morning they woke up and I had made monkey bread for them but they came down and they saw all the gifts Santa had brought them. It was great to see there faces and also I am glad Papa was able to be there with us. Since we haven't been close to family the past few years we have really enjoyed having Christmas at our house with our little family starting our own traditions.
