Happy Halloween!!!! We are finally in our new home in Northern California and have met some great people here so far. We even went trick or treating with some of our new friends Halloween night. I think my son's new favorite holiday is Halloween. He caught on real fast when he saw the candy go in the bucket. I loved watching his dad take him door to door- Ethan was just having a blast...
It was really cute, the people loved him at the door because he would try to say trick ot treat. Even that night when we put him down for bed, he said "trick or treat" when he usually says "night night." It was so stinkin cute. Oh and he also wouldn't let us hold the bucket when it started to get heavy- he would drag it to each house. I would try to hold it for him but he did not like that idea at all. He had a lot of fun.
We went with some friends in our ward trick or treating so this was a little group picture of the kids. Ethan loves to be around kids so he had a blast.
He would not keep his hat on while trick or treating, but all week, while he was at home he wouldn't take it off! If it fell off he would bring it to me and make me put it back on him.
Ethan and I had fun carving the pumpkin and thankfully Brett did the dirty job. He pulled all the stuff out and Ethan liked that part though because he got to play in it.

So we went to a little Halloween activity in our community and Ethan had a lot of fun but ended up causing trouble. There was this huge line of kids with their parents to go fishing in the little pool of water with tons of rubber duckies in them and you get a prize when you fish one out.

So as I was talking with some friends, I look over and Ethan is sitting in the pool of water with all the rubber duckies in his costume. He did that about 3 times until I could see the parents reaction to my kid- so we had to go some where else and that's when he got this sucker and he would not let it loose. So I took his costume off and let him go to town with his sucker.
Then we went to the petting zoo and Ethan loves animals and is not afraid of them at all. So he goes in with this sucker I tried so many times to take it away but he wouldn't let me take it so I gave up. We went home right after that. It was so nasty- he had hair on him and the sucker from the animals. He took a bath as soon as we got home because it was just wrong.
Ethan in a new home adjusting to all the changes. He has done great except the fact that he only wants to take 1 nap now instead of 2 2 hour naps. That has been a little hard adjusting to.
Ethan loves the water and could be inthe water all day so we went a lot when we moved up here to Northern California and we were living in a hotel for over a week. it was great.... No I don't recommend it.
Brett and I went on a cruise right before we moved away and my brother and sister-in-law were so nice to take Ethan for us. We had a great time it was nice to get away for a little bit.
We rented a scooter to go and see this blow hole and we heard it was like 15 mins away. NO.. we were on it 45 mins one way and 45 mins back my bottom was sore but it was a lot of fun. I would rent the scooters again.
One of the places we went to was Cabo and there were a lot of things I wanted to do but I couldn't because I was 5 months pregnant and I think some things would had been fine but we didn't take the chance. So we went snorkeling and it was really fun. Cabo was beautiful!!!!!
before we left San Diego we tried to go to all the places we have passes at. Disnseyland(which we will still go to we aren't that far away) Legoland and Sea World. I miss it down there I loved living there it was really sad to leave but this was a good move for us so we are excited for what is ahead.
