Christmas 2008 and New Years

Christmas this year was great!!!! It was our first Christmas away from family(besides the time we were on our missions).
Since we were gone for Thanksgiving and with a new job, we had stay here for Christmas and New Years. We did miss our families though and we missed having nieces and nephews running around. Christmas was a lot of fun for us this year because Ethan was so much a blast to watch. Our favorite was when he would rip the presents open with his teeth. He definitely made Christmas for us this year.
We did get to bring in the new year with my brother- Michael, and Autumn and the kids. They drove up here on New Years Eve - so we did get to see some family for the holidays. We love spending time with them and the kids. It was nice because New Years day we just hung out and went to San Fransisco all day. We miss living close to them and wish we could see more of our families.

- This post is in reverse order- New Years and then Christmas:-)

I love this picture of Grace, she was loving that chocolate at Ghiradelli Factory...

My favorite 2 boys and another on the way.

I love this picture of the boys... I think they are all so stinkin cute!!!!!

It was really cold in San Fransico

Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!

Christams was so fun I love my boys they are so cute!!!!!!

Our poor little Christmas tree this year... WE actually have a great one down in AZ but I won't talk about it because its a sore spot with me..... "next year" is all I can say.

This was CHristmas Eve and we all got to open up some new PJs.

This was Christmas Eve. Yes we went out to dinner because Brett had to work on CHristmas Eve so I didn't want to cook all day if it was just going to feel like every other day. SO we went to Texas Road House. I like that place and its a great place to take kids. You get to throw peanuts on the ground and its a loud place.

We went to the Oakland temple and saw the temple lights. Ethan loves the lights and had a blast looking at all of them.

We made more Christmas cookies and once agian Ethan loves devouring the dough. This time he discovered that there was frosting and loved that as much as the cookie dough.

He helped me make Christmas treats for friends and neighbors. I think my son had one to many sweats this Christmas.

Trip to AZ and San Fransico

After our wonderful trip to Mexico we were able to stop in AZ on the way home. We had a lay over there and they needed people to stay and give up their seats because the airline over booked, so we offered ours. I stayed for a week but Brett only stayed for a day because he had to get back to work. It worked out nicely for us because we were able to spend time with Brett's family.
When we flew home, Brett picked Ethan and I up in San Fransisco. And we spent the day in hanging out in the city. I'm going to post these events backwards- San Fransisco first, then Arizona:-)

It was a lot of fun to be down there in San Fransico because it felt like Christmas. With the big christmas tree andpeople singing CHristmas carols. It felt like Christmas was on its way. I love the holidays and all the lights and I love the christmas carols.

It was so fun to be in AZ with Ethan's other cousins. He loves his cousins and loves to play with them. It was fun to see him and Zach play together because Zach would wrestle him and throw him around and Ethan loved it.

Ethan really enjoyed being with Papa and Grandma Rhonda. He had so much fun running around their house causing trouble. We wished we lived closer to them.

Ethan has a slight absession with dogs. He is very gentle with them but even big dogs he has no fear and will go right up to them which kind of frightens me. But he LOVES Jackson!!! I wanted to get a dog this year but my husband shot that idea down fast with the new baby on its way. He said in a year from now so I am holding him to that. I think he is worried that he is going to be the one to take care of him. It's probably true:-)

That little cubby hole was Ethans favorite spot at Grandmas. And I think its all the little cousins favorite spot at Grandmas house.

AZ was so much fun because it felt like Christmas. SHe had all of her decorations up and we made Christmas cookies. Ethan just ate the dough. I don't know if its really that great for him but he loved it.

I think this is such a cute picture of him and his Grandma. He loved that little tree and he loves all the lights on the trees and on all the houses. He yells out lights and he yells it out over and over and over again.

This is our newest little one to the family. Will and he is so stinkin cute. He just hangs out with everyone. He is such a good baby and I can't believe he is over 7 months now he is getting so big.

We have some good looking boys in our family........

Thanksgiving 08 in Mexico

Finally.... I am updating my blog! We just got a new computer so hopefully it will motivate me a little bit more to update.
Thanksgiving was so much fun!!! We went to Mexico with my family and had a blast. It was so fun to see everyone again. I used to live by most of them and now we are alone without family around- so it was good to see everyone and the kids.
Ethan loves his cousins - he played from morning until dark every night. The weather was wonderful and super warm. We did miss having Thanksgiving dinner but it was well worth it.

The boys got together one day to create some havoc. I still really don't know what they did. All I know is Brett smelled like exhaust and was really really dirty when I saw him.

This was his first ice cream cone with out any help. He loved it and it kept him occupied for a while so I could finally eat.

We had pictures taken while we were there in Mexico. It was nice to check my Christmas picture off the to do list.

Yes kissing cousins.... It was so cute!!!!!!!

It was so relaxing... NOt so much with Ethan but having Brett and family around was nice.

Tucker and Ethan are buds we wish they lived closer.

My son loves loves his Uncle Matt and Melodie. If they are around they are the only people he wants to be around and go to.

Brett went Para sailing. He said it was a lot of fun and that I would like it but No one would let me go.... Probably smart though because I was 7 almost 8 months pregnant but all the boys and Autumn did it and they loved it.

The 3 musketeers. They are so stinkin cute. My son is a scrub with no bathing suit bottoms and sand in his mouth.
